Cookie policy

A working draft published for comment. It is shorter than most because we do not run advertising trackers.

What we set

On this website: a cookie remembering whether you chose the business or personal view, so the site does not keep asking. Nothing else.

In the product: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a preference cookie for things like which organisation you were last working in. Both are necessary for Ceodore to function.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers. No pixels from social networks. No cross-site profiling, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

This is why you are not reading this behind a banner demanding you accept two hundred partners. There are no partners.

Analytics

Where we measure how the site is used, we use a privacy-respecting method that does not set cookies and does not identify individuals. If that ever changes we will ask your consent first, properly, with a real choice rather than a dark pattern.

Turning them off

Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in to Ceodore, which is a limitation of how signing in works rather than a choice on our part.
